Southern Samhain Ball

Introducing the Southern Samhain Ball, May 3, 2025, at Club Noir.
In honour of our true Pagan Roots, we have created this spectacular event in true alignment with the Southern Hemisphere which includes holding a ritual with a delegate to protect this magical ball.
Dress to impress prizes awarded for best outfits, go into the running to be crowned King and Queen of the Ball, as well as best mask of the ball.
Samhain is a time of celebration when we have finished harvesting food and we acknowledge an incredible feast prior to the winter season, it is also a time when the veil is the thinnest between our world and our ancestors, thus incorporating well-known medium Amanda De Warren to pass on a message to the King’s and Queen’s ticket holders in true preparation and connection with their ancestors
This year 2025 we have asked the amazing space holder Samyo to be the protector of our Ritual he has been actively and extensively involved in our other Event Beltane – Community Gathering held every November in Landsborough QLD

Performing 3 Sets will be Adelaide based act Spiral Dance
Spiral Dance is an Adelaide-based Pagan folk rock band whose musical focus is on the concepts of magic, myth and legend.
Fusing folklore and legend with a good heady serve of pagan mystery, Spiral Dance presents an eclectic blend of traditional English folk-rock with powerful self-penned songs and tunes.
The band was formed in 1992 as a project to explore some of the more mystical elements in life and has drawn its energy from the songwriting and vocal skills of Adrienne Piggott. Adrienne’s lyrics are supported by guitar and button accordion, underpinned with bass and percussion, all arranged to blend acoustic folk-rock with Celtic harmony.
To date, the band has released nine albums along with appearing on the Green Album and toured extensively in Australia, the United States and the United Kingdom. Highlights include playing concerts with Damh the Bard, Witchfest International, Glastonbury Faerie Ball, The Mercian Gathering and numerous shows throughout the United Kingdom
Likewise, this will inevitably be just as rewarding and moving event for our community.

We do have a small market to go along with the ball operating from 5pm to 10pm, stall sites are limited and include two tickets to the ball. Stalls must be in character of the theme of the event which is Samhain (ie Halloween)
