Introducing – The View From Madeleine’s Couch !

Take off to the Bossa Nova Sunset Club for a night of hypnotic bossa nova rhythms with The View From Madeleine’s Couch. This celebrated Brazilian ensemble bring more than 25 years of experience to their spellbinding shows, which feature classic bossas like Corcovado and that famous girl… Garota de lpanema, alongside the band’s award-winning original songs.

Sublime Portuguese vocals from Anje West and the vibraphone of Kym Ambrose form the musical heart of the band’s exquisite sound, with their longtime bandmates Bruce Woodward (guitar), OJ Newcome (bass) and Paul Hudson (drums), rounding out their lush, beachside sounds. The perfect balm for a winter’s night!

Doors open 6.30pm, our wonderful support act, John Paul College’s ensemble: Exit 24, will be playing from7pm-7.30pm, followed by The View From Madeleine’s Couch from 8pm-9.15pm, bar open til late!
