Introducing – Irene Bartlett

Irene’s rich voice is complimented by her ability to adapt her singing style to suit the mood and musical taste of her audiences. She has a wealth of performance experience singing across all contemporary styles – “Jazz”,“Pop”, “Country”, “Rock” and “Music Theatre”. From her early career in television to the present day she has worked alongside some of the biggest names in the Australian entertainment industry. Currently, Irene is Associate Professor, Head of Pedagogy, Coordinator of Contemporary Voice and Jazz Voice Studies at the Queensland Conservatorium, Griffith University, Australia.

Irene’s students (past and present) work as professional jazz and contemporary gig singers in ‘live’ performance venues, as recording artists, in musical theatre stage productions and in Movie roles.

Doors open 6.30pm, support act (to be confirmed) will be playing from 7pm-7.30pm, followed by Irene Bartlett from 7.30-9.15pm, bar open til late!
